More About RYA Safe and Fun Safeguarding Course

Participate in our online Safe and Fun Safeguarding Course, designed for Dinghy and Windsurfing Instructors, Seniors, and anyone involved in working with children and/or vulnerable adults at an RYA club or training center. Newly qualifying Dinghy/Windsurfing Instructors and Senior Instructors are required to complete this course prior to their instructor course.

Minimum Duration: This course is equivalent to approximately three hours of online training. However, the benefit of learning online is that you can work through it at your own speed. It may take you more or less time than that.

Certificate Issuing Criteria: Understand good safeguarding practice, how to recognize potential signs of abuse, how to deal with it, and who to refer any concerns to.
